Titan Thinelads Inaugural Tomorrow At NormalThe Illinois Wesleyan thin-clads will make their first appearance of the 1945 season at a five way meet at Normal Thursday, April 19. The other competing teams are Eastern Teachers, Southern Teachers, and Western Teachers.Most of the Wesleyan runners are doing double events or more. Hank Bennett is entered in the field events, hurdles and possibly dashes; also, he will run in the relay. Jim Heibling, Jack Mus-selman, and Bennett will handle the weights, while Morse Bogard will run the 220, 100, 400, and relay, besides high jumping and broad jumping.Coach Brewer has three boys in the distances. They are Tomlin, M. Saito, and Walt Ewing. Ewing probably will run both the mile and two miles, along with both hurdle events and the mile relay. As yet Brewer is undecided as to his entries in the 880 and it may be either Jim Hersh-barger, Morse Bogard, or Ewing.The lack of available partici-BASEBALL FRIDAYWesleyan will play host to the Chanute Flyers in the first home appearance of the Titans Friday, April 20.Ole man weather forced the cancellation of two baseball games last week.
