THE ALASKA MINERG. MeyringRejoins PAALocal StaffClipper plane flying and instrument instruction kept Pilot Gene Meyring, popular PA A. aviator much on the busy side the past several months. During the greater part of his absence from Fairbanks he was at the PA.A. clipper base in Alameda, California.In Tropics Meyring brought word of a group of former Fairbanks airmen when he returned to town a few days ago. Basing sat Miami and flying Clipper ships to Havana, Nassau, Kingston, Jamaica and Panama points, “Robbie” Robbins and Jerry Jones are on these runs. The Miami base of the PAA.' is also home port for Jack. Eagan and “Jinks” Ames, who are on South American trips.On Alaska Flights Pilots Robbins, Jones and Meyring were a part of the PAA. personnel when experimental Clipper flights were being made on the Seattle to Juneau run.
