HE AROSE AGAIN]The Savior came from heaven to i earth; 1Was bom of the virgin, a lowly birth,, He healed the sick and lame by the way,- And He taught His disciples how Jthey should pray, lie brake the bread and blessed thewine;His blood He shed for your sins and mine. !And never murmured, nor a harsh J word said.He was nailed to the tree, they J pierced his side; 1He said It is finished,” and then He j smen;But all these things would have been «m vain.Had He from the tomb not risen j 1 again.We are rid of the fellow, His enemies thought,His troubling us to an end has beenbrought.He's in a sealed tomb ana night anaday . ,Soldiers guard Him from those who would steal Him awray.Yes, He's in the tomb and the stone’s at the door,And He'll never trouble us anymore.It won't be long,” they may have said, ,.t .Till He’ll b© forgotten like the other dead.But all -;heir thoughts proved to be in vair , .For on the third day He arose again.tThe critics now say that He didn't arise . , .
