John Rosner, founder of the Ros ner Meat Markets, passed away in the Michael Reese hospital last Fri day morning, following a serious operation. Funeral services were held Monday from the chapel at 63rd and Harvard avenue. Interment was at Cedar Park cemetery. A resident of the South Side for the last quarter century, Rosner was well known in the meat business, having conducted markets since 1908. Three brothers, Tony, Joe and Frank, survive him to carry on the six markets that he established. Mr. Rosner was married and is survived by his widow, Mary, and four children, Raymond, 10; Rhoda, 8; Rolland, 4; and John, Jr., three months old. The family residence is at 7550 Wabash avenue.
