♦NEW TROY. ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦Sister Royce has purchased the house and two lots adjoining the Brethren church of Ernest Baldwin. The young man is thinking of studying for the ministry and thinks he can lie abed Sunday morning and hear the sermons according to Saint John and not have to study so hard.Wm, Findel has his new barn nearly completed. Our merchant and postmaster is doing the carpenter work. S. G. Penwell Jb building a new house opposite the two churches. He wants to be shown.Teachers all hired for next year. F, E. Faulkner, principal; Belle Royee, intermediate; and Edna Bowers, primary.We have two blocks with ten or fifteen houses and all occupied with either old maids or widows, only one man on the two blocks and he stays in the woods.One of our young men came near having a “brain storm” storm Sunday. Only thing lacking was, brains short.
