A GRAND SUCCESS-h Packed House Greeted Enter tainment Given For The Benefit of the Methodise GhurchA very large and appreciative audience greeted the entertainment given under the direction ofMrs Thos. S. Munnerlyn at the*opera house last Thursday nightfor the benefit of the Duncan Methodist church. We predicted that the entertainmentwould be a success, and if a packed house counts for anything, together with the very creditable manner in which those who tookpart in the entertainment executed their respective parts, and the enthusiasm displayed by the audi-ence, it was more than a grand success—not to mention the financial part.Mrs. Munnerlyn, as well as all of her assistants a yd those whotook part in the entertainment, deserve the thanks of the members of the Methodist congregation for contributing to the success of the occasion. Among others we are requested to mention Mrs. Ross C. Davis and Mrs. Geo.VB. Sanders who largely assistedMrs. Munnerlyn from the very beginning. and also Mr. W. F. Blount, manager of the Kimball Piano Co., for use of piano.The neat sum of $150 was realized.
