Made Things Lively iaeneially.The ex*president further made the session interesting by reading a decidedly warm annual report and by intimating that he intended to light the new management to a finish. The first sign of the war that was coming was a motion by the reorganizers that last year’s minutes bo not approved, which they carried, the only opposition being Grcenhut and his soil and iheirattorney, William Jacks, representing in all 1,119 shares of stock. The resignations of several directors were then read and accepted, Grcenhut stating that they were submitted in consideration that he retain his position as a director. The report of the president was next in order, and was the more interesting in that heretofore Grcenhut has steadily refused to make any reply to the charges that have been spread abroad' against him.Denit * All Charges Absolutely.lie began his report with a sweeping denial of ull the charges, declared his accusers to be slanderers and falsifiers, denied absolutely all charges of mismanagement, and asserted that the present receivership is proving disastrous to the company. The report says: “The recent very general, and the oft repeated accusations and charges against myself and follow directors I wish here to stigmatize as false, malicious, and untrue, and I trust that time and opportunity will soon bo at hand when the utter groundlessness of these slanderous charges can and will bo established and the slandeiers dealt with as they deserve. I defy any one to prove any willful mismanagement or misappropriation of the company’s funds, or that I, or any of the directors, have been parties to any contract or contracts for our personal benefit detrimental to the best interests of the company, or that any of the official statements which have been given to stockholders from time to time were otherwise than true and fully warranted by the facts when the statements were made.”
