Littlkton School District.—Thoschool district directed to be organized by a bill of the last Legislature has been laid off by actual survey, and tho consus of the children of school age was commenced on Monday. It will be finished in about ten days. Winfield Young is doing the work. In addition to this a census of the whole population of the district wilt be taken also. The vote on the special tax will be held oil May It, and while some opposition has been developed there is no doubt among the citizens that the tax will be voted. It is so small that it will hardly be felt. The number of children, white and colored, of school age in the town of Littleton is 300, and in tho entire district about 700.
