May, Lanning left nis home , ii 11 at 4 o'clock on the afternoon of j Valentine’s Day, intending to go to j work. Officials of the firm report j that he failed to report for work on j that day or since. Nor have the fel-1 low employees seen or heard of him I either.Stating that “his home was his happiness.’’ Mrs. Lanning could find . no reason wjiy her husband who was so perfectly contented’’ would want to leave home intentionally. “He I must be a victim of amnesia. she J reasoned. “We were so happy to-! gether.”SEARCHING SINCE Since her husband’s mysterious dis-1 appearance two months ago Mrs. i ; Lanning has carried on personal day and night search. She has visited ; police stations, hospitals, doctors’ offices, employment agencies, institu-itions, bus and railroad stations, theatres, the homes of all nis friends i and many other logical places where ! a missing man might turn up.
