(Mail’s Special Service.) Paoli, Ind., April 14. William Kemp shot and fatally wounded Miss Sarah E. Morgan, aged thirteen years, at his home last night. Miss Morgan died of her wound at 1 o’clock today. The young lady was visiting Mr. and Mrs. Kemp, and while he was playing with a loaded revolver, the weapon was dis charged, the bullet penetrating the girl’s forehead and ploughing into the brain. Kemp was recently married and the accident has prostrated his young wife and almost crazed Kemp. The latter is under arrest and confined in jail awaiting the action of the Coroner, who will hold an inquest this evening. Three phy sicians worked with the girl nearly all of last night, but their efforts to save her life proved futile. Kemp is a widely known young man and claims the pis tol was discharged by accident.
