This was an indictment for an assault with an axe on one James Murphy. Verdict of the jury gwliy. Sentence of the Court was a fine of ten dollars and costs, which defendant paid. The case was argued to the jury by J. S. Sewall, Esq., for the deft., and by J. S. Baker, Co. Att y, for the Stale.
