A muskie is the catch of a lifetime,” said Peggy Stor-moen, a Sun Prairie muskie angler who voted against the resolutions. “A lot of people who would get a 40-inch trophy for themselves are knocked out of the game.”The DNR and the Wisconsin Conservation Congress held joint hearings simultaneously in all 72 Wisconsin counties Monday. The Conservation Congress is a collection of outdoor enthusiasts from around Wisconsin that advises the DNR.The two groups each presented dozens of proposals and asked hunters, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts to vote on them. The votes are not binding.
