ObituaryLinda Cordell, daughter of Ell. Cordell and wife, was born in Taylor county, Iowa, March 30, 1879, and departed this life April ^13. 1925.She was married to Alpha Rusco in 1905. To this union 3 children weve born—John and Ruby of Athelstan, and Burl who preceded her in death. She leaves her husband, mother, two children, three grandchildren, several step children, two brothers—Ike Cordell of Blookton and John Cordell of Nebraska City, Nebr.— one sister —Mrs. Cal Carter of Trenton, Mo. —and a host of relatives and friends.Funeral services were conducted from the Holiness church at Athelstan Monday by W. M. Hunt, assisted by Ed.Colvin, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Athelstan cemetery.
