Decorah, Ia., April 15.—The base ball committee of five had a success ful meeting last Sunday afternoon and nothing but harmony could be heard on all sides, the boys all being willing to put Decorah on the base ball map. The first practice was held Monday evening under the leadership of Arne Sorlien and Hans Anderson who will have temporary charge un til the next meeting when a perma nent manager will be elected. This meeting will also be a boost er’s meeting and the Odd Fellows’ band will be there to remind every baseball fan that they are wanted at the meeting, not to sit around, but get up and talk real baseball with a real baseball spirit and get all others to do the same thing. With Calmar, Ft. Atkinson, Spill ville and Decorah having all home teams some real exciting baseball can be seen around here this sum mer and it is understood that the three first named teams will be very strong and that Decorah will have to hustle all the time to hold them down, but they will try.
