VOL. 24MAXSON SELLS TO JACK STONE #--------Lloyd Maxson Has Sold His Stock of Groceries and Shoes and Given Possession.Since our last issue another change has been made in the business circle of our 'ittle city, and as a result Jack Stone is now the sole possessor of the ! stock of goods formerly owned by Maxsen Densmore. It. will be re-; membered that Mr. Densmore recently j sold his shar in the above business to | his partner, Mr. Maxson, and he in turn has now disposed of the entire j business to Mr. Stone. Mr. Maxson ; will now devote his entire time to the Implement business in which he is engaged with L. O. Burgin.Mr. Stone, the new merchant, is so well known here that it is useless for us to say anything about his personality and business ability, other than to assure the public that they will be treated with the greatest cordiality and reppect and their wants in the grocery and shoe line will be looked after with his personal attention. We earnestly hope that Jack will make good in his new line of merchandise as he did in tha hardware and other lines of business he has handled in Edgewood.Mr. Stone has secured the services of Miss Anna King, an Edgewood girl who has had considerable experience as a clerk, and is now in fine shape to handle the business for his customers with good satisfaction.
