Bakemnn gavo some interesting figures, based upon personal visits to Eastern machinery houses and con-densaries. He said it would require $25,000 to start a plant with a capacity of 20,000 pounds a day. The machinery would cost $11,000, the balance being required to purchase site, erect a building and to buy milk. He stated that several $1,000 subscriptions had been secured. A committee consisting of President Bakeman, C. D. Robinson. B. H. Morgan, G. M. Cochran and Dr. McCready was named to solicit subscriptions.
