The IODe and Eastern Railroad Company was incorporated yesterday with a capital stock of $1,000,000, of which $14,000 is subscribed. The purpose of the company is to build a road fourteen miles in length from lone to a point on Sutter Creek. The directors and the amount of stock they have subscribed are Jackson Dennis, $3500; Wilford Dennis, $2500; J. J. Fagan, $1000; William Pardy, $1000; R. E. Wallace, $2500; H. H. Ferns, $2500, aud S. C. Scheeline, $1000. The company intends to construct a single-track railroad from lone to Jackson and thence to Sutter Creek. Electricity is to be the motive power.
