The Belton Baihboad.—The citizens of Milam and Bell counties have each organized a railroad corgpany, and are co operating for the purposo of building a railroad from Kearney’s Station on the Central railroad, by a direct route to Belton. Meetings have been held in both counties, and other meetings in the future have been appointed, one of which is at Belton bn the 18th inst. The route is to be immediately surveyed, and, frith the encouragement and support of the Central railroad, the work, we have no doubt, will be rapidly pushed forward. This is the way to work. Let the Central Bailroad-be pushed as rapidly as possible toward the northern lino of tho State at Bed Biver, aud-let branch roads built by the citizen^ reaching into all the important sections of the State. The Camp road toward Huntsville and beyond; the Tap road toward Waco; the Branch road toward Belton; and tho Washington county road toward Austin; aro now in a fair way to be rapidly built. Let the whole people rise up and help, and wo shall make Texas all we desire.—Houston Telegraph, * •'riTTfAuvn _\ Vvirfxr nf cr\ma t
