Clarence Everett Felch was born July 12, 1889, in New Hampshire. At the age of 18 he came west to Kansas.On December 25, 1912 he was united in marriage to Des-sie Edna Fisher. To this union was bom 6 children.In January 1920 they moved to a farm in the Alta Vista community. They then moved to a ranch southeast of Simla in 1937 and lived there until he retired and they moved to. Simla, Colorado.After the death of his wife,C. E. made his home With his daughter, Vera Corder, in Cal-han.He departed this life on April’ 5, 1977 at the age of 87 years.His wife, Dessie, and tnree sons, Everett, Donald and Doyle preceded him in death.Surviving are two daughters, Vera Corder of Calhan, Jewell Pavey of Colorado Springs, one son. Ray Felch of Littleton, 25 grandchildren and 47 greatgrandchildren, a brother, Irvin,;' and other relatives of New Hampshire and a host of friends;Clarence was a member of ; the Simla United Methodist Church.Funeral Services were held at the Simla United Methodist Church Friday, April 8, 1977 at 11:00 a.m. Reverends Her-shal Bauer and John Hartleroadofficiated.Casket bearers were Ronald Pavey, Kenneth Felch, Richard Corder, Dennis Corder, Bill Cantebury and Darrel Powell.Honorary bearers were Dan Pavey, Melvin Felch, Marvin Corder, Dean Corder, Gary Felch and Steven Felch.Burial was in the Simla Cemetery with Love Funeral Homein charge of arrangements.
