Mokena Park Race UncontestedMokena park district Commissioners Clyde Bond and Peter Lovrich, Jr., are unchallenged in their bids for election April 19 to two six-year terms on the board.Both of the incumbents were appointed to fill vacancies on the board. Lovrich in September, 1976, and Bond in late 1975Lovrich, an Arbury Hills resident, said his purpose in volunteering for the board seven months ago was to provide representation for the subdivision, which was previously annexed into the Mokena park district.He said he also wanted to see some improvements in Hecht park in Arbury Hills and to improve the existing recreation programs sponsored by the park districtIN SEEKING election to a full term on the board, Lovrich added, he will continue to work for those goalsBond, meanwhile, said he has not set “any fantastic goals for himself as a member of the board of commissioners.Currently president of the park board, Bond said he “just (wants) to make the park dis trict better.”Polling place in the Tuesday, April 19, election will be the Mokena village hall (formerly Cappel school), on Carpenter street, from 6 a m to 6 p.m.Peter Lovrich Unoppo sed in his bid for election April 19 to a six -year term on the Mokena park board is Peter Lovrich.
