CHICAGO -- “Implanting of the Word, a three-day spring Bible conference of Jehovah's Witnesses, will be held April 16-18 at the witnesses' convention hall,7859 S. Ashland Ave.Phillip Beisiegel, 6811 W. Hickory St., Tinley Park, assistant presiding minister of the Tinley Park congregation, said, “Such meetings are vital to the witnesses' work of implanting the word of God into the minds and hearts of people who are without adequate Bible instruction.”Beisiegel noted the increased interest in the Bible shown by many young people who are in search of answers. Beisiegel said, “teenagers and young adults are now studying the Bible with Jehovah'switnesses and making meaningful changes in their lives.”The “Implanting of the Word assembly theme will be carried through the Theocratic Ministry School and service meeting. Friday, April 16, at 6:45 p.m. These meetings are designed to train Jehovah's Witnesses in public speaking and to be effective in door-to-door preaching and home Bible study activity.The Saturday meeting, at 6:55 p.m., features a symposium entitled “Fully Share in the Implanting Work.The highlight of the conference is a public lecture, “What is Behind the Spirit of Rebellion?” which will be given by Andrew Laguna, district representative of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Brooklyn, N.Y. at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 18. i
