Ex-New York Governor Son Among Fliers © From RAF, RCAF The transfer of 90 American fliers fro tr the RAF and RCAF to the U.S. Amn! Eighth Air Force was announced yester day by Headquarters, ETOUSA. Among those transferred was Peter Gi Lehman, of New York City, adopted by of New York's former Governor, Herbey H. Lehman. The latter is now in Britai on a mission as director of the U.S. Offic of Relief and Rehabilitation Operation’! Peter Lehman, who enlisted in the RCAH 15 months ago, made the transfer from Sergeant Pilot to Flight Officer. The list of transferees also mncl John P. Williamson, of Pasadena, former RAF flight lieutenant who we made a captain in the Eighth Air Forge 30 Years in England 1/Lt. Raymond F. Lane, whose hon town is listed as Pinner, Middlesex, land, was born in Southboro, sg 44 ‘American parents, but has lived in land for 30 years. He was a flying 6 in the RAF, . Two others whose home towns are out side the United States are 2/Lt. Robe S. Campbell, of Chatham, Ontari Canada, who was born in Detroit, and Cpl. Donald F.
