_.Henry Norder was b'orn in' Green ; County, Wisconsin, on May 26, 1855. He was the youngest ebiid- of. Jacob and Katherine Norder. He grew to manhood in Wisconsin, later coming, to Iowa.He was married May 24,: 1884, to Miss Mary Klassiei at the home of the bride’s parents six miles, north-! west of Renwick. They began housekeeping in. Renwick; where they'Operated a grocery, store for ten years. Then they moved to a farm.north of Renwick where they lived for ten j years and' then moved back to Ren-i wick where they have resided for the past thirty-two years.Eight children were born to this1 union. One son, Frederick, died at the age of nine years. Mr. Norder is survived by his wife: and seven children: Mrs. Katie Schneider of Minneapolis, Minn.,. Mrs.. Laura Loaee of Lake City, Earl Norder. of Marshalltown, Mrs. Vada Granner of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Minnie Lueh-singer, Lee Norder and Mis3 Thelma Norder of Renwick: also eight grandchildren, one. great-grandchild and! many other relatives and a host of; friends.Mr. Norder passed away April 7,' 1988 at the age of 82 years, 10 months . and 11 days, after a. short illness. During young manhood .he joined the German Reform church in his home community where he has re-! tainea his membership. He was a:; loving and patient husband and father, retiring and unselfish in hia ' devotion. He was highly respected by the entire community, a good and kindly neighbor, a friend to all who knew him. His death was a shock to the family and entire community, many of whom did not know of his illness.
