Dr. Charlton was assisted at the organ by Lucien White, music critic of New York Age. While bride and groom knelt at the altar, Miss Margaret (Peggy) Penny packer, of Fisk University, sang San derson’s “Until”. Mrs. Cullen, mother of the groom, was attended by Mr. Noah D., Thompson; and Mr. Noah Murph Thompson, of Baltimore, attende Mrs. Cullen's sister. Mrs. Cullen wore maize georgette adorned with beads and embroidery and a rose colored shawl. She car ried American beauties. Mrs. W. E. B. DuHois wore Tose sore with Cone and carried pink to The Gowns . The bride wore cream satin trim med with Duchess iace, long veil and coronet of orange bil ms. She wore the groom's gift, a platinum bracelet set with diamonds and a string of pearls. She carried a bou quet of white ones. Nearly 600 attended the reception in the basement of the church, where chicken salad, rolls, ice cream, cake and punch were served. The bridal party was served at a separate table —the bride cutting the big wedding cake. Miss Chita McCard, of Balti more, caught the bride’s bouquet.
