Wm. Davis moved from the Edw. Staley property to his property re cently purchased. Staley, Adam Charlton, Martin Startz man, Mrs. William Teach, John Wes terberger, Clarence Schnebley, Bruce Downin, Albert Charlton, Misses Pearl Chariton, Maggie Shank, Devona Chariton, Sallie Davis and Susan Morin. George Alexander moved from the William Davis property to the Walter Clark property, near St. Paul’s Church. Herbert Martin moved from the Wolf property, Walnut Point, to the Edward Staley property. A fine din ner was served. Those assisting were: Mr. and Mrs. Mason Renner, Mr. and Mrs. Asbury Barnes, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Martin, Samuel Hoffman, Francis Renner, Carlton Mentzer, Emma Moser, Grover Moser, Grace Mentzer and Jennie Moser. While Clayton Hyde was moving a load of goods belonging to Howard Waters he was unlucky enough to break a barrel of glassware. Dean, young son of Mrs. Lizzie Potts, found an egg with a perfect J on the shell. The egg is quite a curiosity. Miss Ella Downin spent the week end with the family of John Huyett, Hagerstown. Miss Pearl Charlton spent several days with the Misses Martin, Hagers town. Miss Mary Potts spent a day with her grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Harsh, Williamsport. Miss Bessie Staley spent Sunday with Mrs. Wm. Teach. Miss Sallie Davis spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Davis. Frank Bragunier visited the family of Mr. Clayton Hyde. Mrs. Wm. Davis and Mrs. John Westerbarger visited the family of Alex. Miller, Raymond Suffacool was a caller in our village Sunday evening.
