began his harangue.CEDAR FALLS MAN HANGS HIMSELF TO RAFTER IN BARNo:Family Troubles Thought to Have Been Cause of Suicide of Aged Resident.Cedar Falls, April 13.—Horace Sherwin, aged about 70. a prominent pioneer resident committed suicide by hanging himself to a rafter in a barn loft Saturday. His body was discovered by Marshal En-low late Saturday night when a search for the aged man. who had been missing nil clay, was Instituted. The body was stlfT and cold when found and it is believed the man had been dead for many hours.Sherwin was last seen alive about 5:30 o'clock Saturday morning when he left the house and failed to return. It is believed he went directly to a barn across the alley from his home and committed the act of self-destruction.He Is survived by a wife and several grown children.
