Big Saw Mill. Mead Spear, of Pittsburg, who recently bought about 5,000 acres of the Brockerhoft Cameron land on Strange creek, are pre paring for extensive operations. Some time since they secured a charter for a railroad from the mouth of Strange creek to Sum mersville, and in a few days will put 300 or 400 men to work grad ing several miles of the road on Strange Creek. Cam Given has the contract for sawing 1,000,000 feet of trestle and other timber for the company. They will erect a large band saw mill the com ing summer, and the plant will be one of the largest in the State. It will be located at the mouth of Briar Run in Nicholas county.
