The stone to be used is trom the -Stony Point, Mich., (juarries owned by Stephen Bond, of this city, at the west end of Lake Erie.Mr. Boseker’s bid was considered a reasonable one. as the architects’ esti-m -.te on a stone building waB $69,650.The building is to be finished bv July 1, 1893.The structure will be a monument of beauty and durability. To Messrs. WiDg Mahurin, the architects who planned the buildingand tastefully modified it to suit the ideas of the city hall committee, is due great credit. This enterprising firm of architects do their work on an original basis, always considering the uses of the building they are sketching and the demands for convenience and roominess that will be made upon it. In the plans of our forthcoming elegant new city ball they have combined beauty, utility and convenience to the people and the public’s servants in a masterly way. In fact the plans were so thoroughly gone over and reconstructed by the architects and the committee after thorough consultation that little if anything in the shape of an improvement was left to be suggested. Our city hall, if built according to the plans and specifications, will be a municipal building of which every tax payer in the city may well feel proud.opiHame tin wa grc ‘seen r ficlt; wil thiofagiMrOUjambetbetioirenwilelepecin i tioi to I pro wo ter Me sta: woi cipi parSIC5 pat hac on thrd for The live The Mis gall will plu den seal give the hur you lion and the wer Sup bur on t rein fron peri beir B; hors nooi the wag this mit com piceA TT1 Arn Terr lectt nnc out i a fin echo twel aboi tbe lectt that avail tend cour 1:30 placi cour bv a Y. it non i to l«NOT UNANIMOUS.Amen roon for t
