UadfleM.A resolution was adopted to the effect that the officers elect of the Board Le installed next Monday morning at eleven o'clock. This ceremony would have been performed yesterday morning but for the ill health of Mr. Sawyer, which prevented aim from being present.As a matter of interest merely to those concerned, we will mention that the Trustees resolved to fix the rent of the wall pins it ten dollars per annum. The table spaces will be rented on the first of May.ijaiitc extensive repairs and improvements have been going on in the Board of 1'raJe Rooms during the past two or three weeks. A complete new' floor has been laid, and the old tables that formerly stood against the walls have been removed, thus giving the room a more spacious appearance. The whole interior is to be painted, and then the wai ls will be adorned with a number of new maps to be purchased per resolution of the Trustees. Maps of the world, sections of the world and portions of countries will be procured, beside any number of railroad charts. It is the intention, we are informed, of the new managers to make the room as attractive as possible, and thereby help to promote a mutual sentiment of cheery good feeling among the members.After the improvements have been completed iu the large room the {secretary's room will ^receive much needed attention, and will probably be somewhat improved in appearance. Speaking of the Secretary, we are reminded that this is the ninth year that Mr. William Thurstoue has served in that responsible position.BASE BALL.rttF.
