Holton, whose wife Kristie is the daughter ol Jack Williams of 5708 Allen St., West Sacramento, has returned from an extended deployment in the Western Pacific.Holton is a crewmember aboardIii the servicethe guided missile destroyer USS Towers, homeported in San Diego.Assigned as a unit of the U.S. Seventh Fleet, the Towers conducted combined training operations with various Navies of friends and allies in the Western Pacific area.In addition, he and his shipmates had the opportunity to visit the Republic of the Philippines, Taiwan, Pakistan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand as well as Guam and Pearl Harbor.Holton attended Sacramento City College and joined the Navy in October 1971.DENNIS L.
