Tiogathers Club Formedto RaiseTioga Mothers club will sponsor a barbecue dinner April 14 in an effort to raise funds for remodeling work at the Tioga schools.The club recently was formed because of a need for fundsto finance the work on the school buildings. Present taxes from the Tioga school district are not enough to pay for the project.Tentative date for the remodeling Job to start is thissummer.The Mothers Club will hold the barbecue dinner from 6 to 8:30 p. m. Friday. April 14, at the Tioga gymansium. Advance ticket sales of $1.50 each are underway. Tickets also will be available at the door the night of the dinner.Wayne King, school superintendent, explained that tax revenue for this year was not enough to cover the costs ofthe needed remodeling programduring the coming summer months. He added that a revaluation study currently is being conducted and that funds should be available at future dates for financing any needed repairwork.The revaluation study, beingconducted by die equalizationboard, was okayed by school board trustees in March. Members of die equalization board, are Clarence Baker, Billy Gene Mayo, E. L. Hestand, Otis Renfro and H. H.
