Bert Rushton Merideth, aged 65, well known farmer in the McCarty rethereville area, died suddenly Tuesday morning at 790 o'clock after suffering a heart attack. He was born in Tennessee and moved to Missouri in 1931. He was a veteran of World War I and served in France. He is survived by his wife, of the home t two daughters, Mia. Robert Fauqualt of Columbia and Mrs. Tom Manning of Wal nut Ridge, Ark, four brothers, two sisters and one granddaugh ter. Berviews were old Wednesday afternoon at 3.40 o'clock In they, First Baptist church of Caruth eraville with Rev. Ray officia ting. Burial was in Pomiscot Memorial Gardens under the direction of LaForge Funeral Home.
