Visiting guest officers from Maine and New Hampshire snow shoe clubs joined with members from local clubs in installing the new officers of Le Voltigeur club and auxiliary Sunday at the Unity club, Saco. Serving as installing officer was Jean Turgeon, Suncook, N. H., president of the American Snow shoe union. Escorting officers for the ceremonies were President Joseph Larose, of the Rocham beau club, Biddeford, and Dom inique Gagne, from the Jacques Cartier club, of Lewiston. The master of ceremonies was Dominique Gagne and the flower girls included Mrs. Robert Beau pre, from the local Snowshoe club, and Lillian Murphy, of Le Parreseux club, Rumford. All members of the installing staff were seated at the head table. Others there included Robert Beaupre, of the Voltigeur club; George Neault, the Rocham beau club; Mrs. Jean Turgeon, Suncook, N. H. and Mrs. Rita Regis, the auxiliary president of the Rochambeau club; Bertrand Dutil, Pastime club, secretary of the American Snowshoe union. Arrangements for the 250 guests were in the charge of Chairman Emile Picard and Mrs. Juliette Cote, outgoing auxiliary president, and their committees. Assistants to Picard included Paul Des jardins and Adrian Petit. Mrs. Cote’s committee included Mrs. Jeanne Robitaille, Miss Rachel Gregoire, Mrs. Aurora Bisson nette, Miss Irma Turgeon and Mrs. Yvonne Rousselle. Extending greetings to mem bers and guests was President Yvon Caron, elected to another term, and Antonio Dallaire, also chosen to continue as publicity chairman for the club. Serving as special hospitality assistants for the day were Wil fred Poisson and Walter Bisail lion, and music for dancing was furnished by the Voltigeur club orchestra. Officers Installed Club officers installed during the ceremonies were President Yvon Caron; Vice President Paul Houde; Secretary Joseph Pel letier; Treasurer Henry Roberge; Collector of Dues Ernest Bineau and three directors, Conrad Ruel, Leo Brulotte and Leonel Gardner. Others taking office were Nor man Turgeon, director of sports; Armand Allie, captain of sports; Louis Dupras, lieutenant of sports; Roland Huot, director of music; Robert Beaupre, master of ceremonies, and Antonio Dal laire, publicity chairman. The delegates to the American Snowshoe union are President Caron, Joseph Pelletier and Adel bert Huot; to the Maine Local union, President Caron and Pel letier. In the auxiliary division, the delegates to the Maine Local union are Mrs. Juliette Cote, out going president, and Miss Irma Turgeon. Auxiliary officers installed were Mrs. Julia Vigne and her staff, including Mrs. Sylvia Caron, Mrs. Leona Petit, Mrs. Aurore Soucy, Miss Turgeon and Mrs. Madeline Fournier, heads of the five com mittees for the year. POINT INSTALLATION ceremonies for Le Vol tigeur club and auxiliary took place Sunday at the Uni'y club, Saco. Third row, Norman Turgeon, director of sports; Louis Dupras, lieutenant of sports; Ar mand Allie, captain of sports; Robert Beaupre, master of ceremonies, and Roland Huot, director of music. Auxiliary officers are pictured in the lower photo and included, left to right, commit tee members, Mrs. Aurore Soucy and Mrs. Leona Petit. Outgoing president, Mrs. Juliette Cote; in coming president, Mrs. Julia Vigne; the remain der of the committee members, Mrs. Sylvia Caron, Mrs. Madeline Fournier and Miss Irma Turgeon. Over 250 members and visiting guests from Maine and New Hampshire clubs were pres ent for the banquet and program. Arrangements for the celebration were in charge of chairmen and committees from both units of the club.
