FORT CARSON, Colo.—Arturo Hernandez, son of Santos Her nandez, 307 E. Richard Ave., Kingsville, recently was promot ed to sergeant first class at Fort Carson, Colo., where he is a mem ber of the 502d Engineer Combat Group, Sergeant Hernandez, personnel administrative supervisor with the group's Headquarters Company, entered the Army in 1948. Her nandez, whose wife, Rosa, and three children, live in Manitou Springs, Colo, is a 1948 graduate of Henrietta M. King High School.
