Arrested twice recently for oper ating an automobile while intoxicated and burdened with domestic strife which had resulted in the starring of divorce proceedings by his wife, Ar thur S. Burkett, prominent Columbus attorney, committed suicide Sunday by seoting himself. Burkett is believed to have been re morseful over his latest escapade Saturday night when he drove thru a safety zone and knocked down a regress with an infant in her arms. He fired the suicide shot in his bed room while his wife was preparing his breakfast.
