Edward Lemke, Age 16, Succumbs to Disease Yesterday. Edward Lemke, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Lemke, died at the family residence, 2005 Columbus street, yes terday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. Some three months ago, While play ing with a small house dog, Edward was bitten on one of his fingers, and though the dog died the following day, it was thought that its death was caused by being choked on a bird it had eaten and the incident was passed unnoticed Edward became sick on Wednesday and the nature of his il lness soon became apparent to the at tending physician, Carl Lemke, another son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Lemke, also Carl's wife, who were bitten at the same time, left at once for the Pasteur Institute in Aus tin, where they are now taking treat ment. Besides his Parents Edward is sur vived by two brothers, Carl Cr. and Calvin Shelton, and three sisters, Mil dred E., Olga and Marguerite. The funeral will take place today from the family residence, 2605 Colum bus, Rev. J. J. Greer officiating, in terment at Oakwood.
