—A few of our citizens took ad-*vantage of the cheap rates to California last week and are now basking themselves in the lovely climate of California. Those who went were Mi. A. G. Vandermeu-len, his son Geert and wife, Mr. and M|rs. G, S. Boekenoogen and dentist J. P. Hunt. How long they will remain away will depend large* ly on how well they enjoy tbemselyte and how well they are fed. This opportunity was very nice for Mr.G. S. Boekenoogen to go and visit two oI hu brothers who have made their home in the land of the set* ting sun for several years.
