SACRAMENTO (AP) — A transsexual with AIDS should be executed for murdering his live-in girlfriend and raping and mur dering her 5-month-old daughter during a drinking binge, a jury has recommended. The Sacramento Superior Court jury deliberated about seven hours before recommending the death penalty Tuesday for Jeffrey Wayne Kolmetz for the 1986 mur ders of Shelly Ann Vaughn, 31, and her daughter, Xenia.
