He resided in Sioux City many years and before retiring had been employed as a box maker at the Cudahy Packing plant.Mr. Luken was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, A-merican Legion and Cathedral Epiphany, Sioux City. He was well known as a baseball fan.Surviving are two brothers, Gregory (Ted) of Urbana, Iowa, and Lawrence (Jack) of Seattle. Mr. Luken was never married. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephand Katherine Luken, and a brother, Earl.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Assumption Catholic church, Merrill, with Rev. E. E. Apt officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Le Mars.
