Shawnee Knorr was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and is one of the few remaining members of the Indian tribe of the same name. She was discovered working as a lumberjack in a logging camp in Washington State. She was performing men s duties, and her male friends were hard pressed to keep up with her. Shawnee weighs 275 lhs. and is very strong. She handles heavy logs with ease and facility. Shawnee is extremely agile despite her great size, but her appetite is prodigious. To sup port her huge frame, she often eats eleven pounds of food at ameal.Miss Knorr is the most logical j contender to take June Byers crown, but the Champion has been carefully avoiding the big Indian. There is little doubt as to the outcome of that match, if and when they meet, but until that time, Shawnee must remain content with her title of ‘ World’s Biggest Lady Wrestler.
