Mrs. James DeBry was hostess to members and guests of the Rigby Study Club, Thursday evening at the DeBry home. She presided at the meeting as president of the club. The rogation was led by vice-presi dent Elma Holbrook. Nineteen members answered to roll call. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Boyle and five senior stu dents from the high school. During the business meeting it was planned to make a donation of youth's books to the children of Japan and also a contribution of $5.00 to the American Red Cross. June Bishop acteds as program chairman in the absence of Marian Carlson who introduced Mr. Boyle, who in turn introduced the students Mrs. Venda Hunting Siddeway, Miss Alice Rohwer, Messrs. Keith Hender son, Roland Rolfe and David Scholes. A most interesting and educational program was enjoyed. Mr. Boyle, principal of the Rigby High school, and instructor of the Social Living class, together with the students held a panel discussion, the subject being “Definition, cause, pre vention, extension and treatment of Juvenile Delinquency.” The students had the subject well in hand with ready, intelligent an swers to Mr. Boyle's questions, and showed careful preparation with a knowledge of the subject under able instruction of Mr. Boyle. A discussion of the members fol lowed after which the hostess served a delicious dessert to those present. Next meeting will be held April 19, at the home of Mrs. Reed Hunter, Lewisville. Even an intelligent man makes a fool of himself about some things.
