Plans for the reception to Hon. Albert C. Chambon, French con sul, and party, who are to be guests in this city April 28 to participate in the 50th anniver sary celebration of the founding of “La Justice,” French language newspaper, were discussed at the semi-monthly meeting of Fre mont club members and members of the Fremont Auxiliary Thurs day evening at St. John hall. During the business session, President Ernest Valliere presid ed. Mrs. Wilfred Simoneau was in charge of the auxiliary busi ness session. Miss Helene Thivierge address ed the groups in the interests of the event. Alfred Lantagne, Emile Grenier, Mrs. Simoneau and Mrs. Oscar Labelle also spoke about different phases of the coming celebration. Refreshments were served fol lowing the business session.
