Miss . charried= “Kathryn. Barr, daughter of Mr..and. Mrs. John Waters Barr,of Westfield, was married Friday evening in Christ Church, Short Hills, to Kenneth Wright Smith,son of.Mr.and Mrs. 8. Lenny Smith, of Short Hills, The Rev. Dr. Dean Newton Dobson, pas tor of the Central Reformed Church, Maplewood, offseated. ‘A small re ception, at the Hotel Suburban, Summit, followed. . ~The bride’s..father..gave her In. marriage. Miss Catherine B. Walk er, of Columbia, S. C., was maid of honor. Attempants be Mra Wet neat L. Lough, of Elizabeth, and Miss Ruth L. Clemens, of Hast. Or ange. The bride wore: a gown of white satin with a bolero of white ap pliqued soutache braid, a tulle veil fastened to a coronet of. orange blossoms ,and carried white orchids and valley tlles. Dean Blair Smith was his ‘broth er’s best man. Ushers were Jo seph Alexander Hamilton, Port land, Ore.; Ernest L., Lough, Elis abeth, Mdwich Cummins; bEPaso, Tex., and Alfred S. W. Stapf, East Orange. After a trip to Bermuda Mr. ‘and Mrs. Smith will reside in Westie.
