Thomas FuneralPRINCETON (RNS) — Mrs. Vir-gie Delano Thomas, 70, died Friday after a brief illness at the Princeton home of her sister, Mrs. Ernest Hypes.She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Thomas, who died July 24, 1940. She was a mern-|ber of the Methodist Church at Kingsport, Tenn.Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Margie Widner, of Kingsport, Tenn.; five sisters, Mrs. Del-pha Ferguson, Elgood; Mrs. Bessie Forkner, Mullens; Mrs. Beulah Johnson, Cleveland, O.; Mrs. Gertrude Hunter, Roanoke, Va.; Mrs. Ernest Hypes, Princeton; three brothers: Burhan, Elgood; Porter, and R. B., both of Princeton.The body was taken from the Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton to the Hypes residence Saturday at 5 o’clock, and will be taken to the Elgood Community Church Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted there at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. J. M. Hypes and the Rev. L. A. Dorsey, with burial following in the Elgood Cemetery.
