Nite Unit Home Bureau Met FridayThe members of the Monroe County Home Bureau Columbia Nite Unit entertained their guests at the City Hall on March 30. Mrs. Wm. Ryan and Mrs. Elmer Diel planned the program. Mrs. Russell Hick and Mrs. Clifford Ludwig opened the meeting with a Radio Talk on Home Bureau explaining the organization and work of the Home Bureau. Mrs. A. Leingang demonstrated the Major lesson “How To Iron A Shirt” and Mrs. R. O’Neil gave the minor lesson, Salad Dressing. Mrs. Elmer Diel led the games. Mrs. Adolph Hick and Miss Alma Horcher served refreshments which consisted of Bohemian Tea and cookies. Several of the members exhibited some of the articles they made in Home Bureau.
