thatolFred Weltzin Rites ReadLong'-Tirae Resident of Jubilee Community Dies on Sundayc -Furinrnl services were ]jcllt;1 Tuesday afternoon for Fred Weltzin, GC, longtime resident of -1 the Jubilee community, who died at his home in Fox township Sunday from the effects of a hcait ailment. Prayer services wore held at 1 p, m. in the Parker funeral home a I Jesup, followed at 2 p, ui. by services in the Ziun Evangelical Lutheran church at Jubilee. Burial was ijj Jubilee cemetery.Mr. Weltzin Was born June 11, 1873, near Raymond, In 193G he bought n farm west of Jubilee, and a year Jatci, on May G, he mairied Louis Suhr at -Jubilee. In the spring of 1010 he .bought the pms' ent farm south of Jesup, where he had lived ever since.He enjoyed good health until the fall of 1937. when he was bedfast for six weeks with a heart uilment. He suffered another attack late in December the following year, but had recovered enough to continue his regular activities. A third attack came Wednesday last week.Surviving are his wife and three children, Mrs. John Mjllei of Clinton, William Weltzin of Morrison, Ilk, and Ren bun Weltzin at homo. An infant daughter, Ruth Emma, preceded him fn death.Also surviving arc a sister and two brothers, Mrs. llvnry Hoppe of La Porto City, Herman Weltzin of Jos up and John Weltzin of La Porte City.Mr. Weltzin was a life-long member by baptism of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran, congregation at Jubilee, and an active participant for many years in community and church activities.R. H. Orth and Mrs. Edwin Hoppe had charge of the flower* at the funeral.
