MACON MAN KILLS BROTHER WITH ONLY HIS BARE FISTMacon, April 8.—Seeking to remind his brother for discourtesy to a stranger, Harry Smith quarreled with Frank H. Smith, 41, Sunday afternoon, and a moment later dropped him dead with a blow from his bare fist.As Frank sank at Harry’s feet, the latter stooped over the lifeless form.“Frank! Frank!” He cried. There was no response. Harry lifted his brother's head, wiped the dust away from his face, carefully placed the body in an automobile and drove home. The scene of the killing was at what is known as Georgia’s Best Tourist camp, on the Houston Road. It came at the close of a day's fishing expedition in which the two brothers and Grady Bowman had figured. The death separated two brothers who have worked and lived together for a long period of years and was the third violent death in the family in a little more than two years. Harry’s wife met death in the wreck of the I’once de Leon and Royal Palm trains near Rockmart, Ga., two years ago Christmas eve. The first husband of Frank’s former wife was killed in another wreck.
