HdFarm Names May Be Ret-LTIIf the farmer of Indiana have any idea of naming their respective farmsit perhaps will be well for them toof theknow that the recent session legislature has provided for a state registry wherein the names selectedrecan be recorded and in this manr er bepreserved and also be referredto incase there is any necessity for so doing. In this community many of th« leadingfarmers did not wait for the legis atureto take the matter up, for theyhavehad their farms named for severalyears in some instance^. However,the fact that the legistry for names has renewed the interest i pretty custom and jt is likely that more of the farmers in this an ^ other hejctions of the state will adopt it from this time on. One of the principal reasonsrwhy the names are to be registered to prevent their duplication within cei tain prescribed limits so there ''will no confusion arisingj from this aoure Some of the farms in this locality r well known by the fallowing names: J.
