The chairman auuounced : the object of the meeting to be *he selection of two members from each ward to serve as city central committeemen for the ensuing two years. .The following were elected by unanimous vote r First Ward—C. A. Dolman, H. M.Cooper. Second Ward—J. N. Loop, C. S. Hicks. Third Ward—Ed. Simmons, W. H. Murphy.Fourth Ward—J. E. Vaile, G. W. Price. South Kokomo—-Flavius Roberts, Lafe Jones.Capt. Garrigus then proposed three cheers for what we are going to do, which were'given with a will, after which the meeting adjourned.At the conclusion of the meeting the new com'nit tee organized by the election of the following officers : President—W, H. Murphy.Secretary—J. E. Vaile.Treasurer—C. A. Dolman.J. N. Loop, the retiring president, declined the honor of another term.In the matter of selecting candidates for the various offices to be tilled at the coming election, it was decided to hold a delegate convention Thursday, April 18, ward conventions to be held the evening previous.i;n
