Judy Ann BatesJudy Ann Bates, 64, of 853 Prendergast Ave., died Saturday, March 23, 2013, in WCA Hospital.An area resident most of her life, she was born June 11, 1948, in Jamestown. In earlier years, she had been employed by Bush Industries.She is survived by her husband, James D. Bates, whom she married Feb. 14, 1986; a daughter, Robyn Bates and a son, Josh Bates, both of Jamestown, and a daughter, Theresa McMahan; a grandson, Austin McMahan; two brothers: David and Ernest Roy Rex-ford; and a sister, Brenda McChesney.Judy’s wish was for donation to the University of Buffalo Medical Center. A memorial service honoring her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13 in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dayle F. Keefer will officiate. Burial will take place in Lake View Cemetery.The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Saturday.You may light a candle in remembrance of Judy at www.lindfuneralhome.com.
